1. Correctness of Personal Particulars. Candidates are requested to ensure that
their Name, Date of Birth and Father’s Name given in their online applications
matches with those on their matriculation certificates and Aadhar Cards.

2. Online applications where individual details mentioned above (i.e Name, Date of
Birth, Father’s name) do not match with details on matriculation certificate are liable
to be rejected during the documents check at Selection Centres.

3. Aadhar Card. Candidates who have not updated their Aadhar Card numbers in
their profile are requested to do so at the earliest. Aadhar will be used for biometric
verification at all stages of selection.

4. Number of SSB Attempts. There is no limit to the number of times a candidate
can appear for SSB. However, candidates misinforming /concealing the number of
attempts already taken, when called upon to declare the same, are liable to lose
their candidature at any stage of selection process once the same is noticed by
authorities concerned. Failure to clear Stage 1 of SSB is also counted as one
attempt.


5. Correct Mobile Numbers and Email addresses. Candidates registering on the
website i.e www.joinindianarmy.nic.in or applying for NDA/NAVAC/CDSE entry
through UPSC website are requested to ensure that mobile numbers and email
addresses being submitted in their online applications are unique to them. Using
mobile numbers or email addresses of friends, internet kiosks or other candidates
may lead to errors in processing their applications
